Noble Companions, Abu Hurayrah said: the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:إذا جاء رمضان فتحت أبواب الجنة وغلقت أبواب النار وصفدت الشياطين
"If the coming of Ramadan, the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained up."
Above hadith was issued by Al-Imam Al-Bukhari in his Saheeh rahimahullahu Ash-Shaum book, chapter au Syahru It Yuqalu Ramadhan Ramadhan no. 1898, 1899. Issued also in the book Bad'ul Khalqi, ch wa Shifatu Devil Junuduhu no. 3277. As for Al-Imam Muslim in his Saheeh rahimahullahu brought in the book of Ash-Shaum, and given the title of chapters by al-Imam al-Nawawi, Fadhlu Syahri Ramadhan no. 2492.
Goodness Doors Open, Doors Closed ugliness
Ramadan's arrival will be greeted with great joy by believing that human beings will always miss his presence and count the day of his arrival. Many virtues that were promised to be achieved and gained in this noble month, including as mentioned in the hadith of our discussion within the rubric of 'Hadith' this time. And these virtues in the hadeeth obtained since the beginning of the blessed nights of Ramadan, as mentioned in the words of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam following:
إذا كان أول ليلة من شهررمضان صفدت الشياطين ومردة الجن, وغلقت أبواب النار فلم يفتح منها باب. وفتحت أبواب الجنة فلم يغلق منها باب, وينادي مناد: يا باغي الخير أقبل, ويا باغي الشر أقصر, ولله عتقاء من النار, و ذلك كل ليلة
"When comes the beginning of the night of Ramadan, the devils and jinn are chained up very bad, the doors of Hell are closed, there is no single pintupun open, while the gates of Paradise are opened there is no single pintupun closed. And a caller calls: 'O people who come here want goodness. O people who want to resist evil. 'And God has freed people from hell, this happened on every night. "(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi in his Sunan no. 682 and Ibn Majah in his Sunan no. 1682, dihasankan Ash-Shaykh Al-Albani in Misykat rahimahullahu no. 1960)
In this blessed month, the evil on earth a little more, because the evil genies shackled and bound, so they are not free to spread mischief in the middle of humans as they can do this outside of Ramadan. In those days the Muslims tersibukkan with fasting that would break her passion. They also tersibukkan by reading the Qur `an and other devotions. (Al-Mirqah, Ash-Shaykh Mulla 'Ali al-Qari in al-Misykat ta'liq 1 / 783, hadith no. 1961)
These devotions will train the soul, cleanse and mensucikannya. Allaah says:
يا أيها الذين آمنوا كتب عليكم الصيام كما كتب على الذين من قبلكم لعلكم تتقون
"O those who believe, fasting is obligatory upon you as required to those before you, hopefully you're cautious." (Al-Baqarah: 183)
Because a lot of good deeds done, so good sayings abound, ditutuplah jahannam doors and opened the gates of Paradise. (Shifatu Shaumin Nabiyyi n fi Ramadan, pp. 18-19)
Meaning of the words of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam in the hadeeth صفدت الشياطين is the devil's chains. And what is meant by the devil here is مردة الجن as mentioned in the history of hadith, al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah. مردة word is plural (more than two) of the العاتي الشديد المارد words, their meanings are very arrogant, lawless, arbitrary act again to exceed the limits (see An-fi Nihayah Gharibil Hadith). So that chained up devils among the jinn is a very evil, as for the devil from among men remained at large.
We need to declare this, Ash-Shaikh said Muqbil bin Hadi Al-Wadi'i rahimahullahu, lest you say: "We had some disagreements and backbiting in the month of Ramadan (and how to say the devils are chained up while crime still exist? -Ed.). "We replied that the chains are devils among the jinn are very evil. While small demons and devils roam among the human remains are not handcuffed. Similarly, commanded the evil spirit, friends sat an ugly and malevolent are indeed pleased with libel and dissension. All this is in the midst of human remains, not chained unless genies very bad. (Ijabatus Sa `il 'la` il Ahammil Period, pp. 163)
Al-Imam Ibn Khuzaimah rahimahullahu said in his Saheeh (3 / 188): "Chapter mention that only the desired information Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam in his saying only وصفدت الشياطين evil genies, not all demons. Because the devil's name is sometimes given to some of them (not dimaukan in total). "
In this blessed month there are angels who call on his goodness and badness as calling for reducing the lafadz hadith:
وينادي مناد: يا باغي الخير أقبل, ويا باغي الشر أقصر
"O people who come here want goodness. O people who want to resist evil. "
The hadiths about the virtues of Ramadan
In addition to the above hadith, many other traditions that speak about the virtues of Ramadan. Among these we will mention the following:
1. From Abu Hurayrah who said: Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:
من صام رمضان إيمانا واحتسابا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه
"Anyone who fasted during Ramadan in a state of faith and hope for reward, his sins will be forgiven the past." (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, no. 1901 and Muslim no. 1778)
2. From 'Imraan ibn Murrah al-Juhani radhiallahu' anhu, who said: A man came to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:
يا رسول الله, أرأيت إن شهدت أن لا إله إلا الله, وأنك رسول الله, وصليت الصلوات الخمس, وأديت الزكاة, وصمت رمضان, فممن أنا? قال: من الصديقين والشهداء
"O Messenger of Allah, what is your opinion if I testify that there is no right worshiped except Allah alone, and I bear witness that you are the Messenger of Allah, I pray five times a day, give charity and fasting during the month of Ramadan, which then included in the class I?" The Messenger replied: "You belong to this class shiddiqin and martyrs." (Narrated by al-Bazzar, Ibn Khuzaimah and Saheeh Ibn Hibban both, and lafadz mentioned are lafadz Ibn Hibban. classed as saheeh Ash-Shaykh Al-Albani in Saheeh At-rahimahullahu Targhib wat Tarheeb no. 989)
3. From Abu Hurayrah, who said: Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:
أتاكم رمضان شهر مبارك, فرض الله عز وجل عليكم صيامه, تفتح فيه أبواب السماء وتغلق فيه أبواب الجحيم وتغل فيه مردة الشياطين, لله فيه ليلة خير من ألف شهر, من حرم خيرها فقد حرم
"It has come to you a blessed Ramadan month. Obliges Allaah upon you to fast in this month. In Ramadan, the gates of heaven opened and closed the doors of hell and the devils are chained up very bad. In this month Allah has a night better than a thousand months. Who was forbidden to get really good that night so he has forbidden. "(Narrated by Ahmad, 2 / 385, An-Nasa` i no. 2106, classed as saheeh Ash-Shaykh Al-Albani in Saheeh Sunan An-Nasa `i. See Saheeh At-Targhib Tarheeb wat no. 985, Al-Misykat no. 1962)
4. From Abu Hurayrah, who said: Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:
الصلواة الخمس والجمعة إلى الجمعة ورمضان إلى رمضان, مكفرات ما بينهن, إذا اجتنبت الكبائر
"Prayer five times a day, Friday to next Friday and Ramadan to Ramadan next is a sin in between, when shunned big sins." (Narrated by Muslim. 549)
Suffice presumably by virtue of Ramadan Allaah chose between the months of existing for Allaah sent down His glorious book of the month is a blessing, in a night of glory. Allaah says:
شهر رمضان الذي أنزل فيه القرآن هدى للناس وبينات من الهدى والفرقان
"The month of Ramadan, the month in which the derived (early) Al-Qur` an as a guidance for mankind and the explanations of the clues, and distinguishing between the haq with a falsehood. "(Al-Baqarah: 185)
إنا أنزلناه في ليلة القدر
"Verily We have sent down Al-Qur` an that on the night of Qadr (Night of Power). "(Al-Qadr: 1)
Fasting should have led to Takwa
Wisdom disyariatkannya otherwise fasting Allaah in His Word:
يا أيها الذين آمنوا كتب عليكم الصيام كما كتب على الذين من قبلكم لعلكم تتقون
"O those who believe, fasting is obligatory upon you as required to those before you, hopefully you're cautious." (Al-Baqarah: 183)
Ash-Shaykh 'Abd ar-Rahman ibn Nasir As-Sa'di rahimahullahu said: "The case contained pious fasting include:
- People who leave what is fasting Allaah forbade him the form of eating, drinking, intimate 'and semisalnya, while the soul is inclined to the things they should be abandoned. All was done in order to draw closer to Allaah, hoping for His reward. This includes self-restraint.
- People who fast train his soul to feel the supervision of Allaah (muraqabatullah), then he left what he wants his soul when he is able to do so, because he knows surveillance against Allaah.
- Fasting is a way to narrow the devil, because the devil was running on the children of Adam, such as circulation / blood flow. And fasting would weaken the act leads the way so that the shrink.
- The person who fasts generally expand the practice while the practice of obedience, including obedience pious temperament.
- People who get rich if unpleasant feeling hungry so she should be giving spaciousness / giving alms to the needy people who do not haves. This, too, including temperament piety. (Taisir Karimir Al-Rahman, pp. 86)
Thus it is no exaggeration when we say that the momentum of Ramadan should be a first step to improve the faith and piety to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, for then faith and piety continued to be cultivated and nurtured in the months that followed. And do not be left separate from the body and soul to come pick up from the messenger of Ar-Rahman (the angel of death). In particular, the population of this country we should look in the mirror self-relation to any calamity that struck our country, nor calamity that came continuously, one after another after another. It is not all this happen to us except for our sins and we are away from the faith and piety to the al-Khaliq.
ظهر الفساد في البر والبحر بما كسبت أيدي الناس ليذيقهم بعض الذي عملوا لعلهم يرجعون
"There has also been damage on land and at sea caused by the act of hand / man-made, that God may feel to them, partly from the consequences of their actions, to allow them back onto the right path." (Ar-Rum: 41)
وما أصابكم من مصيبة فبما كسبت أيديكم ويعفو عن كثير
"And whatever misfortune that befall you then it is caused by your own hands and act of God to forgive most of your mistakes." (Ash-Shura: 30)
Calamities that befall this country in the form of earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruption, landslide, mud flow of heat, and so is not because of bad luck rulers / government charges people as dumb or pretending to be dumb. But precisely because of the sins that exist in this country. Regardless of whether this disaster because of the foreign engineered want to drop and destroy this country as the analysis of some, or pure accident, without engineering, yet all of them imposed by Allaah as an exhortation for us to return to Him. Rose from the black mud of sin and sinners, for then repent and ask forgiveness of Him.
Which is very regrettable, among the population of this country many are not aware of the sinners are those with the misfortune that befall. They even do kesyirikan practices, make offerings against disaster, which is dedicated to the spirits of the sea lord, lord of the mountain, the lord of the land, and so forth. Na'udzubillah min dzalik!
In connection with the momentum of Ramadan as a month to increase faith and piety, and related to the many calamities that befall this country, very good for us nukilkan Samahatusy advice from Shaykh Ibn Baaz regarding rahimahullahu calamities that befall the children of Adam, especially earthquakes [1]. Hopefully this advice for children can be a reflection of this country.
Rahimahullahu He said: "Allaah Almighty Own Wisdom is Knowing of what He has decided and set, as He is the Knower Own Wisdom in syariatkan and what He has commanded. He creates what He desired form of the signs of his power. He set it to frighten His servants and to remind them of his rights and warned them of kesyirikan, penyelisihan against His commands and prohibitions of his conduct. "
Furthermore, he states: "It is beyond doubt that the earthquake that occurred on these days in many places / countries are some signs of Allaah, with which Allaah to frighten slaves Him. All of the earthquake that happened and other things that make kemudharatan servants and caused nuisance to them, is caused kesyirikan and sinners. "
ما أصابك من حسنة فمن الله وما أصابك من سيئة فمن نفسك
"It is not a virtue but it happen to you from God and not one caused by evil befall you but yourself." (An-Nisa `: 79)
Ash-Shaykh Ibn Baaz rahimahullahu said: "What shall be done by all Muslims is to repent to Allaah, istiqamah over his religion and to be careful of all the things that are prohibited form of polytheism and sinners. So that they obtain a pardon, spaciousness, safety in the world and the Hereafter from all evil, and Allaah rejected from them all happens to him, to give to them every kindness. As Allah the Exalted says:
ولو أن أهل القرى آمنوا واتقوا لفتحنا عليهم بركات من السماء والأرض ولكن كذبوا فأخذناهم بما كانوا يكسبون
"If the population of the country's faithful and obedient shall We opened for them blessings from heaven and earth, but they even deny it We torture them because of what they had been trying to do." (Al-A'raf: 96)
Then Shaykh al-'Allama menukilkan greeting rahimahullahu Ibn al-Qayyim: "At some time Allaah allow the earth to breath. When it came to pass earthquake / shocks are large, causing fear to His servants, then they turn back to Allaah and remove himself from sinners, submissive to Allaah and regret that, as a greeting some of the Salaf, when an earthquake: 'Behold your Lord rebuke you. "When an earthquake occurred in the city of Madinah,' Umar Ibn Khattab radhiallahu 'anhu berkhutbah and give advice to the people of Madinah and he said:' If an earthquake happens again, I would not Medina lived with you in this. "
Ash-Shaykh 'Abdul' Aziz bin Abdullah bin Baz rahimahullahu advised: "When an earthquake happens and signs of other Allaah, eclipse, high winds and flooding, which must do is repent to Allaah , subject to him grovel and beg forgiveness / spaciousness Him and remember Him multiply and seek forgiveness of Him. As the sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam when the eclipse occurs in the hadeeth narrated by al-Imam al-Bukhari and Imam Muslim: "When you see the eclipse you seek refuge with zikr / remembrance of Allah, pray to Him and seek forgiveness."
Also liked to give love to the poor and give alms to them with a theorem statement of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam:
الراحمون يرحمهم الرحمن, ارحموا من في الأرض يرحمكم من في السماء
"People who care (Rahmah properties) will be graced by the Ar-Rahman. Love the people who are on the earth in the sky Which undoubtedly will bless you. "[2]
من لا يرحم لا يرحم
"Who does not love he will not be loved / blessed." [3]
It was narrated from 'Umar ibn' Abd 'Aziz rahimahullahu that he sent a letter to the governor-governor when an earthquake occurred to them charitable.
Including for spaciousness and safety of all ugliness is to hasten the government taking people's hands and requires them to adhere to the truth and run Shari'a Allaah on them and the unjust verdicts, ma'ruf nahi. As word of Allaah:
والمؤمنون والمؤمنات بعضهم أولياء بعض يأمرون بالمعروف وينهون عن المنكر ويقيمون الصلاة ويؤتون الزكاة ويطيعون الله ورسوله أولئك سيرحمهم الله
"The believers and the believing women some of them are the trustee / lover for some others. They were ordered to the ma'ruf and banning of the unjust, they uphold the prayer, practice regular charity and obey Allah and His Messenger. Those who will be blessed of God. "(At-Taubah: 71)
And the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:
من نفس عن مؤمن كربة من كرب الدنيا نفس الله عنه كربة من كرب يوم القيامة. ومن يسر على معسر يسر الله عليه في الدنيا والآخرة. ومن ستر مسلما ستره الله في الدنيا والآخرة. والله في عون العبد ما كان العبد في عون أخيه
"Who let a believer from a disaster / problems of the world Allah will remove it from one disaster in the Day of Judgement. Who gave it easier for people in difficulty Allah will make it easier for him in the world and the Hereafter. Who would cover the ugliness / disability of a Muslim, Allah will cover the handicap in the world and the Hereafter. And God is always helping a slave for the slave helps his brother. "[4]
Thus the advice of Ash-Shaykh Ibn Baaz, may Allaah bless him with His mercy is vast and he enlarges on his grave,-amen. May Allaah bless the people of this country and eliminate from their misfortune as well as the Source of strength to them to repent and return to his true religion. Hopefully the people of this country to take a valuable lesson in this blessed month, full of blessings of Ramadhan nan, increase their faith and piety in Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala until they become, the people who were freed from the fires of hell.
